Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Organising and the Scientific Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to 9th Baltic Congress of Endocrinology and ESE Clinical Update that will take place from 4th to 6th April 2019 in Riga, Latvia.

The ESE Clinical Update is an international residental event providing essential training for all trainees and an upadate for established endocrinologists.

Baltic Congress of Endocrinology is our traditional and well-founded event bringing together endocrinologists from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania.

We invite you to get clinical update in endocrinology from the experts of the field and to share expierence in the latest developments and novelties in endocrinology.

We are very pleased to host the 9th Baltic Congress of Endocrinology and ESE Cinical Update in capital of Latvia, Riga, near the Old city, to allow you to see and feel atmoshere of city.

You will receive a written confirmation to your e-mail.

CONGRESS REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellation of your registration must be notifed in written and will be subjected to the following conditions:

  • Refund of the fees: a 30 % administrative charge will be applied to cancellations up to February 1, 2019.
  • After February 1, 2019 no refund will be given.
  • Name changes requested before February 20, 2019 will be charged 10 euro
  • After February 20, 2019 no name changes will be accepted

Scientific abstract and clinical case submission is now open and closes on March 04, 2019 at 23:59 EET (GMT+2).

All submitted clinical cases will be reviewed and then a number will be chosen to be presented in “Difficult clinical cases” sessions. The aim of presenting submitted clinical cases in specially dedicated sessions is to promote discussion amongst delegates and faculty. Other clinical cases and scientific abstracts will be considered for poster presentations.

All abstracts and clinical cases must be submitted in English. Please send them via email to elza@jekaba.lv with the subject heading “submit abstract” or “submit clinical case”.

 

 

 

Your abstract/ clinical case submission must adhere the following structure:

  • The maximum number of characters is 3,200 (excl. spaces).
  • Abstracts must include the title, names, surnames and institutions of all authors with presenting author underlined.

* The scientific abstract must be structured including following sections: background and aims, materials and methods, results and conclusions.

* The clinical case abstract should have a structured format including introduction or background, clinical case (diagnostic evaluation, treatment, follow-up) and conclusion.

* One illustration and two tables could be included. Tables and pictures must be in jpg format.
